The stay at Courtyard by Marriott Merida Downtown was enjoyable due to the comfortable, clean room with a well-laid-out design. I appreciated the large bathroom and the high-quality bedding that made a huge difference for restful nights. The breakfast buffet impressed me with a wide selection, although a bit pricey for the local standards. While the hotel's location near Montejo made it easy to explore the city, I faced some inconveniences with the elevator being out of service, which forced us to use the stairs for a day. There was also a slight mix-up with our room reservation regarding bed sizes, but the staff were polite and tried to assist where they could. Despite these hiccups, I would return thanks to the overall favorable amenities and quality of the stay.

I loved my stay! The rooftop pool was an very nice spot to unwind, complete with live DJ vibes that added so much fun. The breakfast selection was great, featuring delicious regional fruit and made-to-order omelets. I couldn't get enough of the spacious, clean room that boasted fine city views.
